WHERE I GO TO FIND MY INSPIRATION:

My husband and I started renovating the cottage we bought in 2016. It is situated on a sloping forest block and is a pole home that is set high up amongst the trees. When I look out of my front door and windows, I see the tops of Palm trees, Gum Trees, and Wattles amongst others. When I look out the back, there is a gorgeous forest with a winding pathway that leads to a firepit area. I find the setting of our cottage very conducive for overcoming any blocks that I may be experiencing. We are at the end of a quiet road, so the cottage is perfect for an author in that regard. As with many writers, there are times where I just need that extra bit of inspiration. I have read that often authors have a specific place that they always go to when they are writing. I on the other hand can prop myself up in bed, or sit at my desk, or even at the dining table. But there are times where I just need a little extra inspiration. And I find that the place I often go to when I want to read a book is where I can also go to find the greatest inspiration for my writing. And that place is here, at the little library corner that my husband and I added during our renovations. It works well if I am completely alone with my thoughts. I go and sit here in this chair and try and arrange my thoughts to the best fit for what I am trying to write about. It also works especially well when I am trying to make up a word that is pure fantasy, and that best describes my character or their vocation, amongst other things. I am grateful for our cottage and for this little library corner that it contains.
If you read the book to the end, and it has added something of value to you, please take the time to give it a review.
