MY PARTNER MAKES EVERY DAY BETTER!

I am sure that all people, whether they have a partner or not, are able to thrive in everything they do. But I also know that some partners can prevent a person from achieving their goals. I for one am very happy that I have Gavin in my life, and I realise that I can count myself lucky. My previous partner was murdered in my home country, and I am ashamed to say that I did not handle it as well as others have managed to. I literally fell apart at the seams and eventually found myself under care. It was at that stage that I realised that I had to pull myself together. As damaged as I was, I discharged myself and tried to face my future as bravely as I could. But it started slipping away again, until I saw Gavin that is. From one glance it was evident that he was in pain, just like I was at that time. It was not long before we connected, and in fact I can honestly say that we clung to each other in the beginning. But we are now stronger than ever before. We built each other up, we gave each other hope and we created a whole new life together. We moved to Australia many years ago now, and we feel safe and more at peace than ever before. Gavin has been nothing short of amazing. He works hard for our family, loves us deeply, lives for our animals, works tirelessly on our cottage and makes every day worthwhile. He is a big man with a soft heart. I am very proud of the way he has grown as a human being. He has overcome so much, and even though I know he still struggles at times, he never stops trying. I am so grateful for this man and I honour the greatness in him.
